Normally, our whole crew would be sweating big time today... because originally the arrival of the long-awaited container with countless treasures from Far East was assured to us for today.

Unfortunatley, the arrival of the ship in the port was delayed again by a few days. We know that this is annoying for you - but constant, even very short-term postponements in every industry and all over the world are now actually the order of the day. For us, this of course means an absolute dilemma in planning, especially in the current holiday season.

Our freight forwarding company though confirmed to us this morning that the ship will finally arrive somewhen this weekend. So the whole thing is within reach!

We just wanted to drop an update before the long weekend especially to all pre-ordering customers, to avoid that you guys will be tortured by useless question marks...

Even if all STAR WARS fans are currently more focused on »Obi-Wan Kenobi«, one or the other has certainly asked themselves again and again how the 3rd season of »The Mandalorian« looks like and - above all - when it will start on Disney+.

Of course, the cat isn't quite out of the bag yet, but there are at least a few small, very fine news reports:
»Greef Karga« actor Carl Weathers confirmed the end of shooting via Twitter at the end of March. A few days ago, Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon) was a guest on the »Rich Eisen Show« and when asked when we would all get more of »The Mandalorian«, he replied with "soon... I believe it'll be sometime this summer". Wow - that would actually be much earlier than expected. However, we are still cautious about our anticipation, because after all, such a complex post-production takes quite a while.

In terms of cast additions, there's only one confirmed new cast member for Mando season 3 - but, great scott, he's the smash: Christopher Lloyd aka Dr. Emmett Brown is coming to the STAR WARS universe! What role the Doc will play is still a secret. But that is also secondary, we think. The fact alone makes us so excited for season 3 - and of course we're looking forward to the first teaser, which will probably be released during STAR WARS CELEBRATION at the end of May. Hopefully!

So, let's see if summer will really take us back to a galaxy far, far away... back... to the future!

If the season will keep what the preview is promising then the waiting time was worth it. Speaking of "waiting": the launch dates of the season's two parts are definately confirmed now: volume 1 will start on May 27 and compete with Obi-Wan Kenobi - volume 2 will hit NETFLIX on July 1 🤩!
 

Last weekend, the »Star Trek Mission Chicago« convention took place. In addition to many prominent star guests from 56 years of Star Trek and a lot of Trekkie cosplay, the manufacturer EXO-6 was on site with their own booth.

The man behind the label is Nanjin Tam - himself a passionate Star Trek fan and formerly involved in the production of Star Trek characters from Quantum Mechanix. In a relatively short period of time, EXO-6 has already announced and released six Star Trek figures plus the Captain's Chair.

There was a mega reveal in Chicago over the weekend! Hard to believe, but a more than 30 new Star Trek figures from three films and almost all series were shown, including Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Picard, La Forge, Riker, Sisko, Quark, Commander Kruge, Seven of Nine, Tuvok and many more. With this amount, even some Ferengi would pale in color!

To give you an overview, Mick has made a round-up of all the new products in the Action Figure District. This will be a fest for all Star Trek fans, as you know: resistance is futile!

Sad news from Hollywood: Bruce Willis suffers from aphasia and is retiring from the screen due to health reasons. He has appeared in more than 100 films and has made movie history more than once. We first met him in the TV series »Moonlighting«. Then came his big breakthrough with »Die Hard«, because he redefined action cinema with his role as John McClane. He was just your regular guy from next door who takes on the fight, gets it right in the mouth, but never gives up. "Yippee-ki-yay, motherf***er"!

The list of his memorable performances is long: »Pulp Fiction«, »12 Monkeys«, »The Fifth Element«, »The Sixth Sense«, »Sin City«, »Lucky Number Slevin« and many more. Thank you for the movies, Bruce!

Little, "crazy" Tina has been asking you to the table in Gearbox Software's Borderlands spin-off »Tiny Tina's Wonderlands« for a good week now. In her bomb shelter, it's »Bunkers & Badasses« time again, Tina's own Dungeons & Dragons twist with her as the dungeon master!

Players choose one of the different character classes and use their fatemakers to fight against the evil plans of the Dragon Lord. He is striving to seize the kingdom of Brighthoof with its "cleverest, most beautiful and most perfect" ruler named "Queen Butt Stallion"! As it should be for a loot-shooter, there are again a lot of unusual and crazy weapons (have you ever beaten a pirate skeleton with a salmon fish or had a mushroom as a companion that attacks its enemies with poisonous farts?)...

We can only recommend this funny game to you - especially on rainy days it's a ray of hope that often puts a smile on your face!

So we will spend tonight again in Wonderlands and hope that one or the other manufacturer of collectibles will get the fever too! A McFarlane Tina or a Mini Epic Butt Stallion by Weta - that would be awesome!

Lilith is the daughter of the Prime Evil Mephisto and is considered as the creator of Sanctuary and mother of the first nephalem within the Diablo universe. What really needs to be pointed out on this collectible is the fact that Blizzard managed to release the statue to the market before the game. Unfortunately this happens rather rarely in our industry...

But not only because of that, we placed Lilith on our throne - no, also the incredible details and the finish is so amazing. Even for those who are not into Diablo, the Lilith statue surely would be an outstanding addition to your collection. For us, it is the highlight in April 2022!

After various postponements, »Morbius« starts in German cinemas today. Jared Leto makes his Marvel debut as Dr. Michael Morbius, following his DC role as The Joker in »Suicide Squad«.

Unfortunately, the first reviews of the film from Sony's Spider-Man Universe are quite sobering. On IMDb it currently has a score of 4.7. On Rotten Tomatoes, the critics' rating is a paltry 20%.

Even though of course everyone will form his own opinion, such a rating doesn't really increase the anticipation of the film. Let's see...

Today, the new Marvel series »Moon Knight« starts on Disney+! It really seems as if almost everyone who is well-known in Hollywood has their Marvel superhero suit hanging in their cabinet. Now Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke are expanding their wardrobes.

Of course, for Oscar Isaac, portraying a character with dissociative identity disorder is a dream role that every actor craves for. The reviews are full of praise.

As this is Moon Knight's first appearance in the MCU, no prior knowledge is required for viewers. So you don't have to be a Marvel expert to enjoy the full series (but of course it doesn't hurt either 😁). Anyway, the superhero-evening is saved!

Terence Hill is celebrating his 83rd birthday today! Kaustic Plastik and Infinite Statue have already congratulated and are even taking the opportunity to show us fans and collectors a first rendering of the upcoming figure's head sculpt. Holy cow - this does already look stunning!

Last night it was time again: The Oscars were awarded for the 94th time! After the Covid-related savings last year, the celebration was held on a glamorous scale with a red carpet and moderation. This was taken over by Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes. Quite sympathetic - but only half of the gags were real hits.

The decision to award the prizes for the eight categories of documentary short film, editing, make-up and hairstyles, film music, production design, animated short film, short film and sound in advance and not live in order to streamline the event a bit, was certainly also somewhat disrespectful.

The New Zealand-Australian western THE POWER OF THE DOG entered the running with 12 nominations, but was only able to score the one for best directing. Jane Campion asserted herself as the only woman among the nominees against guys like Steven Spielberg!

DUNE was nominated 10 times and scooped up six Oscars, including cinematography, editing, special effects and score. Congratulations to Hans Zimmer!

Best supporting actors were Ariana DeBose for WEST SIDE STORY and deaf actor Troy Kotsur for CODA. For best actress in a leading role, Jessica Chastain was honored in THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE. The male lead award went to Will Smith as KING RICHARD.

The Oscar for best picture was a surprise! Here, CODA was able to assert itself against nine tough competitors. The film also won the award for best adapted screenplay. All three nominations for CODA clinched the coveted golden boy. Best original screenplay went to Kenneth Branagh for BELFAST which was nominated seven times.

Once more speaking about "disrespectful": anyone who didn't stay awake last night and searched YouTube or social media for impressions of the Oscar night during breakfast inevitably stumbled across an incident. After Chris Rock made a tasteless joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, her husband, Will Smith, went on stage straight away and slapped Rock! Then a short and precise verbal f-bomb followed... crazy number - but we also thought that the "G.I. Jane 2" joke was really off!

We have a premier within our Postcard Collection in March, because for the first time, the motif comes from a foreign toy-photographer! Due to the motto »Let's go whole hog«, we were able to gain dear Rhys from Australia for a contribution.

During his stay in Germany with his buddy Patrick in Wonderbunk-Town, Rhys grabbed a bunch of Mythic Legions figures and set them in scene in front of his camera. We are very thankful and happy about this awesome picture which he gave us for the March postcard. Thanks so much, Rhys - it was a real pleasure!

It's been seven years since »The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt« was released. Now a teaser picture tells us that there will be a fourth part. The artwork for »The Witcher: A New Saga Begins« (which is the current project title) shows a new Witcher medallion. Since the cat medallion can be assigned to Ciri, it's most likely that the young heroine will be the focus of the new game. However, the development is still in its infancy and so no details of the content are known.

Just this much: CD Projekt Red has confirmed that The Witcher 4 will be an open-world role-playing game. Again, a separate story from the Witcher universe is told without accessing the original novel. It's not necessary to have played the predecessors - although it doesn't hurt. Since the developer studio is talking about a new saga, it can be assumed that more games will follow.

So let's be surprised. There will still be a lot of water flowing down the Pontar before the game is released.

Suddenly people from the Stone Age, the Viking Age and the 19th century appear in the port of Oslo. This is happening in other parts of the world aswell, and the migration of time travelers is continuing. A few years later, the newcomers have partly integrated into Norwegian society, but they also form parallel societies. The series focuses on investigators Lars Haaland (Nicolai Cleve Broch) and Viking time migrant Alfhildr Enginsdottir (Krista Kosonen), who work together to investigate the murder of a Stone Age woman. But not everything is as it first appears...

The series is extremely entertaining and deals with culture clash and xenophobia in an exciting and humorous way. Therefore we can give you this recommendation in case you already fully watched NETFLIX and co. ;).

It's been negotiated for quiet a while - now the deal is done: Amazon Prime Video bought the Hollywood veteran MGM for a whopping $8.5 billion. This means that exclusive access to a large number of licenses ends up exclusively with Amazon. The official press release mentions 4,000 films and 17,000 television episodes.

We are very excited to see which MGM classics will appear in the streaming provider's regular program...
