Product description
MMMToys presents a rustic throne designed as a dark fantasy prop, drawing inspiration from Norse mythology and the dark fantasy genre. Crafted entirely from resin and standing 28 cm tall, it creates the impression of being made from rough-hewn timber, assembled from weathered logs and roots.
The backrest consists of irregular, vertical wooden planks framed by branch stumps and root structures. The natural grain and dark finish give the wood an aged, weathered appearance. Mounted at the top are three skulls with curved horns—reminiscent of rams or goats—which serve as imposing ornamentation and reinforce the throne's archaic, ritualistic aura. Beneath the skulls sits a dark, crescent-shaped metal band, resembling a ritual or heraldic symbol. The ends of the armrests are adorned with carved dragon or gargoyle heads; their gaping maws and angular features lend the throne a menacing air. The seat is covered with a piece of tanned hide, featuring irregular edges that give it a deliberately rustic, natural look. The legs and cross-braces are formed from gnarled branches and roots, making the throne appear as though it grew directly out of an ancient tree.
Overall, the design evokes the throne of a barbarian king, a tribal chieftain, or a sinister witch-king. The combination of weathered wood, skulls, dragon heads, and leather creates a rugged, medieval atmosphere with distinct influences from high fantasy and Norse mythology. Thanks to its design, the throne is ideally suited as a diorama accessory for 1:6 scale figures from universes such as »Conan the Barbarian«, »The Witcher«, or similar fantasy settings. A great seating option, including for fantasy beauties from TBLeague and other manufacturers.
