Motoko Kusanagi Statue - Color Version

The Motoko Kusanagi statue is a joint production of Bandai Namco Filmworks and Good Smile Company under the "With Fans!" label. This collectible is based on the anime film »Ghost in the Shell« and is presented here in a color scheme inspired by the original manga.

Oversight of the production was handled by the film's animation supervisor, Hiroyuki Okiura, together with color designer Kumiko Yusa. Particularly striking is the contrast between the soft, skin-like surface of the artificial body and the exposed mechanical structures on the back and other Areas – a combination that retains its impact even up close. The interplay of different materials gives the figure the character of a unique work of art. An A5 certificate of authenticity is also included.
