Products description

The Doc Holliday Premium Format figure is a stunning 1:4 scale museum-quality piece. With pistol in hand, Doc is confidently ready for a shootout. Each piece is cast in high-quality polystone, then hand-painted and hand-finished to Sideshow's exacting standard. The figure is dressed in an incredibly detailed fabric costume, complete with real metal tie tack and watch chains and a removable working belt. Doc holds a Colt Lightening pistol in hand and carries a removable Colt Peacemaker in his holster along with twenty-five removable pistol rounds. This stunning figure is the ultimate representation of the legendary Old West gunfighter, an outstanding addition to any collection.

One of the most infamous gamblers and notorious gunfighters of the Old West, Doc Holliday made his way across the plains and into the Southwest territories, traveling from town to town as mood or necessity struck. He was quick to draw his pistol and widely known for his hot temper, fearless nature and skill at the card table.

In Fort Griffin, Texas, 1877, a mutual friend introduced Holliday to Wyatt Earp. While Earp was more even-tempered, the two formed a friendship that would be cemented when Holliday saved Earp from an outlaw ambush. Soon after, Earp returned to his brothers in Tombstone, Arizona Territory, where the family held authority as town law enforcement. Holliday joined his friend and was quickly drawn into local politics and altercations between the Earps and Cowboys. After Holliday traded words with Ike Clanton of the Cowboy gang, death threats were exchanged and the fighting escalated. The two groups would collide in the legendary shootout, the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, in 1881.
