Alien Birth Statue

The 5” Alien Birth Statue is limited to 888 pieces. Break out the balloons and the cigars. This warm diorama features a cluster of eggs, the one on the far right giving birth to a foul flesh-pink crinoid horror is projected by a blossoming slime-spattered egg pustule. The Facehugger is surrounded by thin tough multi-jointed appendages, the frame of the upper cartilage shell framing the gruesome labium. The goal of this monster is to propel itself vigorously---to latch on to your throat and face and then secrete its ovipositor. Once this is done, the Facehugger gains control of your life support; firmly ensconced, the monster impregnates you with its special little seedling.

In the original film, Crewman Kane gained a classroom-style insight into the biological workings of the Facehugger. As he looked on, studying the egg pustule he’d discovered, the Facehugger sprang free, generating force sufficient enough to crash through the glass of his space helmet. Kane attempted to scream, reeling backwards as the Facehugger constricted its serpentine tail around his throat. Later, the Facehugger dropped away on its own, withered and lifeless, and Kane’s fellow crewmen celebrated the occasion, not realizing that the Chestburster now gestated within Kane. In Aliens, the alien eggs occurred in abundance, supplied by the monstrous Alien Queen.
