1/6 Scale Superman Comic Masterpiece CMS032

To mark the 40th anniversary of Frank Miller’s iconic comic series »Batman: The Dark Knight Returns«, originally published in 1986, Hot Toys is releasing a 1:6 scale figure of Superman. In the story, the Man of Steel serves as the government's enforcer before the inevitable confrontation with Batman, who has emerged from retirement.

Two newly developed head sculpts offer different display options. The first version depicts Superman with a stoic, authoritative expression, while the second portrays the battered hero with gritted teeth and blood splatters. Both heads feature independently movable eyes and a special UV-reactive effect that simulates Superman’s menacing heat vision when exposed to UV light.

Standing approximately 34 cm tall, the figure features a newly developed muscular body that captures the massive, stylized aesthetic of the original comic art. The tailored costume is crafted from blue stretch fabric and accented by the iconic red-and-yellow Superman symbol and a yellow belt. An integrated wire in the red cape allows for dynamic flight poses, while the yellow Superman symbol is also featured on the cape.

Six newly developed interchangeable hands are included, ranging from fists and relaxed hands to a claw-like hand and a specific pose for flight. Accessories also include a Kryptonite arrow and a damaged sonic cannon. A specially designed display stand featuring the »Batman: The Dark Knight Returns« logo completes the set.
