Lobo is an intergalactic bounty hunter from the DC Universe, known for his extreme brutality and dark sense of humor. He comes from the planet Czarnia, which he wiped out himself out of sheer boredom. Furthermore, he was obsessed with the idea of being unique.

Despite his tendency toward extreme violence and his anarchic nature, Lobo follows a strange code of honor: once he accepts a contract, he feels almost compulsively bound to fulfill it - regardless of how much blood must be shed in the process.
