Benny Hill as Fred Scuttle Statue

Benny Hill ranks among the great comedians in the history of television. With his distinctive brand of humor, he blended modern TV entertainment with the sophisticated slapstick of the silent film era. Precise timing, expressive body language, and meticulously choreographed scenes turned his sketches into comedy classics.

As a writer, actor, set designer, and producer, Hill left a lasting mark on British entertainment that extended far beyond the country’s borders. His versatile humor inspired numerous artists across film and television. Infinite Statue & Collectibles pays tribute to his comedic talent with this 1:6 scale statue.

The statue depicts Fred Scuttle, one of Hill’s well-known characters. Shy and clumsy, Scuttle constantly finds himself in chaotic situations due to his awkward movements and naive demeanor. The piece is based on a 1972 television sketch in which British presenter Nicholas Parsons interviews Scuttle, who appears as a doorman and promoter for a fictional striptease cabaret.
