Originally developed for industrial cargo handling, the Caterpillar P-5000 Work Loader becomes a crucial tool for Ellen Ripley in »Aliens«. During the final battle on the USS Sulaco, she uses the Power Loader to confront the Alien Queen. To mark the 40th anniversary of James Cameron’s sci-fi classic, Hot Toys is releasing the iconic Power Loader as a high-quality 1:6 scale model.

Standing approximately 52 cm tall, the Power Loader features over 18 points of articulation and a highly detailed mechanical structure. Intricately rendered signs of wear and numerous realistic cables give the unit an authentic industrial look.

The mechanical arms, legs, and gripping claws are fully articulated. The protective cage opens, and the joysticks are movable. The seat includes a backrest and a functional harness system. Two USB-powered LED lights add further detail: one on the overhead warning light and another inside the protective cage.

The Power Loader is sized to accommodate the separately sold 1:6 scale Ellen Ripley figure. Combined with the Alien Queen – also sold separately – it allows for the recreation of the climactic confrontation from »Aliens«.
