Beetlejuice Premium Format Figure

»Beetlejuice« (1988) is undoubtedly one of the best films of the 1980s. Directed by Tim Burton, the movie impresses with its dark humor, absurd horror, and a host of quirky characters.

The Beetlejuice Premium Format Figure by Sideshow depicts the bio-exorcist sitting atop the gravestone of the recently deceased Barbara Maitland. Beetlejuice appears gleeful and clearly ready to play some wicked tricks on both the living and the dead. The base, featuring artificial grass and roughly layered cardboard, references the miniature town model that Barbara's husband Adam built in the attic. This also explains the size of the fly, which at first glance appears oversized. The base relief shows a sandworm winding around the pedestal, as well as two depictions of Delia Deetz's artworks.

The Beetlejuice Premium Format Mixed Media figure stands 53.8 cm tall, 37.5 cm wide, and 32.2 cm deep. Beetlejuice's hair is made from soft synthetic material that can be styled into a chaotic look as desired. His signature black-and-white striped suit is tailored from real fabric, deliberately designed with a dirty and worn appearance.

Beetlejuice's left hand is interchangeable: alternatively, you can attach a hand holding the "Handbook for the Recently Deceased."
