The Monster and his Mate 2-Pack - black & white Version

»The Bride of Frankenstein« (1935) is widely regarded as one of the greatest Universal horror films of all time. After Boris Karloff had already defined the Monster's appearance in 1931 with his iconic look, casting Elsa Lanchester as the Bride proved to be an equally brilliant stroke. With her striking, elaborately styled hair, Lanchester left a lasting impression on horror fans for generations.

The film tells what is arguably one of the most tragic love stories in horror cinema: not even the Bride, created specifically for the Monster, returns his affection. She reacts with the same horror at the sight of Frankenstein's Monster as ordinary people do.
