Jaws Movie Maniacs PVC Statue

Directed by Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg, »Jaws« set the standard for edge-of-your-seat suspense, quickly becoming a cultural phenomenon and forever changing the movie industry 50 years ago.

The poster for »Jaws« captured  the primal fear of the darkness of the sea and the danger lurking within. The swimmer has no idea of ​​the gruesome end that awaits her in the next moment when the merciless jaws bite with their razor-sharp teeth.

To mark the 50th anniversary of the blockbuster, McFarlane Toys is reimagining the legendary poster motif in three dimensions. The shark, its jaws wide open, is modeled as a bust on a base bearing the film logo. The pitiful swimmer is embedded in waves of transparent resin and held in place by a hidden wire. A backdrop depicts the impenetrable blue of the ocean.
