With its jaws wide open and poised to attack, this genetically engineered hybrid dinosaur from the »Jurassic World« universe charges forward. Introduced as the park's star attraction, the Indominus rex was revealed in the film to be part of a secret military project aimed at developing genetically modified dinosaurs as weapons.

Based on the genome of a Tyrannosaurus rex and infused with DNA from numerous other theropods, the creature possesses extraordinary abilities – such as camouflage and thermal regulation – derived from the genetic traits of cuttlefish, tree frogs, and pit vipers. This complexity is reflected in the maquette: irregular scale patterns, distinctive dorsal spines, and a powerful, muscular build all attest to the intricate design of the original film model.

The sculpture is set amidst the iconic ruins of the original »Jurassic World« visitor center. Fine details – including cobwebs, weathered rock, and small mushroom growths – evoke a somber, abandoned atmosphere. Prop-quality glass eyes and a hand-painted finish further enhance the piece's remarkably realistic appearance.

Standing approximately 55 cm tall, measuring 139 cm in width, and crafted from high-quality resin, this maquette ranks among the most detailed depictions of the Indominus rex. A signed certificate of authenticity and a thematically designed base complete the presentation.
