1/3 Scale Dilophosaurus Maquette

This 1:3 scale Dilophosaurus maquette from Elite Creature Collectibles is based on the original »Jurassic Park« film. Standing approximately 62 cm tall, the piece was developed in collaboration with ILM artist Bitan and ECC artists Miyo Nakamura and Miranda Jory, faithfully capturing the dinosaur's distinctive anatomy, skin texture, and coloration from the movie.

Two fully interchangeable head and neck sections allow for different display options. One variant depicts the animal with its neck frill folded down, while the second version shows the frill fully extended in an aggressive attack pose. The unused head and neck section can be displayed separately on the included acrylic stand.

The diorama base recreates the iconic scene featuring Dennis Nedry. In addition to the muddy terrain, it incorporates the partially buried Barbasol shaving cream can containing the stolen dinosaur embryos and the distinctive "East Dock" sign.

Each maquette is crafted from resin, individually numbered, and hand-painted. The set includes a metal plaque and a certificate of authenticity signed by Bitan, Miyo Nakamura, and Miranda Jory. Production is limited to 300 pieces worldwide.
