Heidi & Snowflake

The Swiss mountains, a small mountain hut, the grandfather – known in the village as "Alm-Uncle" – and Heidi with her goats define the imagery of the beloved series »Heidi«. The statue captures the early episodes in which Heidi arrives in the mountains to live with her grandfather and begins a new life there.

Heidi takes center stage in the scene alongside the goat Snowflake – an animal she meets in the first episode, »To the Mountain«. The design is loosely based on the cover illustration of the Japanese vinyl LP featuring the series' soundtrack, conveying the natural, carefree atmosphere of Heidi's life in the Swiss mountains.

David Arnould digitally sculpted the statue, while Arnaud Tanguy oversaw the artistic direction. Production involves hand-casting, followed by assembly and painting.
