Man-At-Arms - Sketchbook Series

Emerging from Mark Taylor’s early concept art, Man-At-Arms appears in an unusual form – as a paladin knight and member of the Royal Guard of Eternia. This early vision of Duncan offers a distinctly different take on the character and provides insight into the creative origins of Masters of the Universe.

The Sketchbook Series within Mattel’s MOTU Origins line is based on original concept art, interpreting the characters in the style of an artist's sketchbook. Sketch-like black-and-white illustrations blend with strategic splashes of color, bridging early design concepts with the figures' familiar aesthetic.

Man-At-Arms features the classic articulation of the MOTU Origins line, with 16 points of articulation. His helmet and armor reflect details from the original sketch, while his accessories include a mace and a rifle-style blaster. The unique Sketchbook packaging features a concept-art aesthetic and allows for display either in-box or out-of-box.
