Skeletor - Sketchbook Series

Skeletor – the Lord of Destruction – rises from the pages of ancient sketches, born from the early visions of the »Masters of the Universe« creators. With his distinctive skull-like face and ominous Havoc Staff, he embodies evil in a form that once existed only in initial concept drawings. This special edition pays tribute to Skeletor’s creative origins and the early design concepts that shaped one of the most iconic characters in MOTU history.

Part of Mattel’s MOTU Origins line, the Sketchbook Series is based on original concept art from the 1980s and interprets the characters in the style of an artist’s sketchbook. Sketch-like black-and-white illustrations blend with carefully placed color accents, creating a connection between early drafts and the later, iconic appearance of the character.

Skeletor features the classic articulation of the MOTU Origins line with 16 points of movement and comes equipped with his signature Havoc Staff. The unique Sketchbook packaging with its concept-art design allows the figure to be displayed both in and out of the box.
