1/6 Scale Lt. Commander Spock in Environmental Suit

On the frozen planet Psi 2000, an away team discovers a station filled with dead Starfleet researchers and a baffling mystery. EXO-6 brings Mr. Spock – portrayed by Leonard Nimoy – to life as a highly detailed 1:6 scale figure, capturing his appearance in the classic »Star Trek: The Original Series« episode "The Naked Time."

Designed by costume designer William Ware Theiss, the protective suit was created specifically for the Psi 2000 away team and did not appear again in the series. For the original production, the design was improvised using shower curtain material – a classic example of the creative resourcefulness required by the limited budget of »The Original Series«. Unlike the silver spacesuits used later, this suit consists of a loose-fitting jumpsuit featuring striking orange fabric with a metallic silver pattern. A soft hood and a mesh-covered faceplate complete the distinctive look.

Spock wears the suit during the mission to Psi 2000, where Lieutenant Tormolen unwittingly infects the Enterprise with a dangerous pathogen. With this release, the "Environmental Suit Edition" recreates one of the most unusual costumes from the first season of »Star Trek: The Original Series«.
